The Temple of the millions of beer bottles

Friday, October 31, 2008

Thai monks from the Sisaket used more than one million glass bottles from the beer to build a Buddhist temple.
Attentiveness, which is a component of Buddhist culture, which forced the monks to build everything from toilets to krematoriya, from used bottles, shows us what can be achieved by combining creativity and hard work.

Temple Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew is located about 400 miles north-east of Bangkok in the town of Khun Han near the Kampuchean border.

Using bottles of beer under the Heineken (green) and Chang Beer (brown), the monks were able to clear the necessary land and create a useful structure, which will be visible reminder of what can we do to, sort of like unusable debris came to solving problems creatively .

Water tower and even showers for the tourists made from used bottles from the beer. The monks have been able to sdelatsdelat is all thanks to local residents who brought them the necessary construction materials, which are beautifully reflected in the Thai sun.
